Description
The Glenugie Bridge, spanning the South Ugie Water, was constructed in the late 19th century. It is a bridge featuring two segmental arches built of coursed granite with rock-faced voussoirs. Circular details are incorporated into the centre of the spandrels between the arches. The ends of the bridge have terminal piers and curved retaining walls, leading to embanked approaches. Cutwaters are present on the bridge.
