Description
Rowanlea is a circa 1801-1805 building of 18th-century character, located at 56 Main Street, Longside. It is a two-storey structure with a front facade constructed of squared granite, partly pinned, and featuring straight skews and coped chimneys. A central bow houses the staircase, facing the road. The front elevation has a single window with a door set in the angle, and one window on each floor to either side. The rear wall is of plain rubble. Original glazing remains throughout.
