Description
The dovecot at Delgatie Castle is a circular structure built from rubble, featuring three sharply diminishing stages with a batter. It has an entrance that includes a chamfer and a relieving arch, which is widened at the lower courses. The dovecot contains 708 stone nest holes. While it is similar to those found at Auchry and Huntly, it appears to be considerably older.
