Description

North Lodge at Hatton Castle was designed by William Leslie in 1828. This castellated structure features a round arch with a coat of arms above it. Screen walls connect to a circular turret and a two-storey lodge with a diamond plan, which has a single window and a circular stair at the back. The building is harled, with hood mouldings over the windows and footgate, and it is battlemented throughout.
