Description
Monquhitter Manse is a building dating from 1778, with a parallel wing and a piend-roofed center link added in 1830. The structure is two stories high and harled with margins. The entrance front is symmetrical with gable ends, each featuring two windows and an arched attic window. The center is slightly recessed and has a one-window design with a tripartite doorpiece. The west front, which was modified in 1830, has three windows and includes a garage insertion. The entrance to the north garden is marked by squat Roman Doric column gatepiers. In the east garden, there are two datestones from 1680 featuring the coat of arms of the Earl of Erroll and a dormer head, which have been built into the wall.
