Description
48 Crovie is a mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay cottage constructed from heavily pointed rubble, featuring contrasting painted reveals. The central entrance is flanked by windows with 12-pane glazing. Steps lead up the hillside to the entrance in the south gable, which also has a separate entry to the upper floor. The upper floor includes a piended dormer and a canted oriel dormer that breaks the wallhead, with varied modern glazing and timber frames on the windows. The cottage has end stacks and a slate roof. Additionally, there is a single-storey, narrow two-bay rubble store that projects from the seaward gable, featuring an end stack and a pantile roof.
