Description
This building, known as the House and Souter's Workshop in Monymusk, dates from around 1830. It is a single-storey structure that was likely originally two cottages or a cottage and byre. The building is constructed of rubble, and its elevation facing the street was altered in the 20th century, resulting in two enlarged or new windows and a centrally located door, all featuring gabled tops. The garden elevation has a wide, off-centre boarded door and irregularly placed windows, with an additional door located on the west side. Only one chimney stack remains, and the roof is covered with piended slate.
