Description

Library Cottage in Monymusk is a mid-19th century building that serves as both a library room and a librarian's cottage. It has a single-storey layout and is constructed from rubble, featuring a two-bay cottage with a gabled dormer. Attached to the southeast is the library room, which has a shallow projection on the main front. The library room includes a three-light window set beneath a jerkin-headed gable, while the eastern side has a low piended entrance bay. The roof is covered with slate and has simply coped stacks.
