Description
23 and 24 The Square in Monymusk is a building dating from around 1830. Originally, it was a pair of three-bay cottages, but it has since been converted into a single-storey, six-bay house. The original doors have been replaced with windows, and there is an additional projection that matches the former porch projection on the right side. The building is constructed of squared rubble and features a slate roof with ridge and end stacks and straight skews. There is a modern rear wing that includes a door, and a small attic window is present in the gable end.
