Description

Early 19th century. Single storey, symmetrical 3-bay, traditional rectangular-plan croft house. Harled rubble sandstone.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: doorway at centre; boarded door; 2-light letterbox fanlight. Single windows in bays to outer left and right.

E (REAR) ELEVATION: small single window to centre; evidence of former addition to outer right.

N AND S ELEVATION: blank gabled bay.

12-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof swept at eaves; 2 coped gablehead stacks; 2 cast-iron skylights to W; block skewputts; stone ridging.

OUTBUILDINGS: immediately to N of croft house; single storey, slaister-pointed sandstone rubble; grey slate roof with stone ridging; block skewputts.

BOATHOUSE: gabled rubble sandstone boathouse to N bank of the Ythan.
