Doirlinn

Doirlinn is a late 18th century single-storey, 5-bay, rectangular-plan gabled former ferryhouse. The building is constructed of random rubble and is harled, except for the rear.

The north (principal) elevation features a symmetrical 3-bay arrangement for the main cottage, with a central door flanked by windows. To the left, there is a distinct double bay that includes a door on the right and a window on the left.

The south (rear) elevation has a small window in the centre. Both the east and west (side) elevations are blank gable ends.

The windows are predominantly 6-pane, 2-leaf casement types. The roof is covered with small Ballachulish slates and includes rooflights, along with gable stacks and tall clay cans.

Inside, the main cottage has a simple partitioned layout, with a storeroom located to the outer left, separated by a gable wall.
