Description
Early 19th century. Single storey and attic, 3-bay, T-plan farmhouse. Harled with granite margins. Strip quoins.
SW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical; timber pilastered doorway with 2-pane fanlight to centre bay of ground floor, glazed and panelled 1930s timber door; window to each flanking bay; 2-pane skylight to centre of attic, flanked to left and right by piend-roofed canted timber dormers.
SE ELEVATION: symmetrical; blank gable.
NE ELEVATION: near-symmetrical; 3-bay; gabled bay advanced to centre with piend roofed addition advanced to centre, 2 windows to right return, glazed panelled timber door with 2-pane fanlight flanked to left and right by 2 windows to left return; window to bay to left and bay to right; 2-pane skylights to attic floor.
NW ELEVATION: blank.
Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slate roof with stone ridge. Stone skews. Coped granite gablehead stacks with octagonal cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
ANCILLARY STRUCTURE: tooled coursed granite structure to NW of farmhouse. 3 boarded timber doors and timber window to SE elevation; window to gabled NE elevation; NW and SW elevations not seen 1998. Grey slate roof with tiled ridge. Cast-iron rainwater goods. Interior: not seen 1998.
