Description

The grain mill on Mill Street in Stuartfield dates back to the early 19th century and features a later three-storey, three-window granite rubble frontage facing the street. It includes two kilns, with the southern kiln being taller, constructed from pinned whinstone and brick. There is a 14-foot by 4-foot overshot all-iron wheel, which is connected to a concrete lade situated between the main building and the southern block. The wheel seems to have been relocated eastward and is currently disused.
