Description
Waulk Mill, located at 4 Burnett Street in Quartalehouse, was originally built in 1783, although the current structure likely dates from the 19th century. It is a single-storey building with an attic, constructed from rubble and designed in an L-plan. The entrance is at the attic level from the road. The mill features a complete overshot wheel that measures 15 feet by 3 feet and is still in use today.
