Description

16 Russell Street in Old Deer is a single-storey and attic building dating from around 1840. The front elevation is constructed of pinned rubble and features three windows, with a prominent gabled center that includes a consoled doorpiece. At the rear, there is a two-storey section with crowstepped gables, along with an additional parallel single-storey crowstepped section that has a niche feature. This building was formerly the house of the factor for the Aden Estate.
