Description
6 Low Street in Banff is a mid-19th century building, which may incorporate some earlier materials. It is a two-storey structure with a wide three-bay façade, constructed from harled rubble with painted reveals. The entrance features a doorway flanked by a window, and what was once a gighouse entry has been converted to a glazed section.
On the first floor, there are three widely spaced windows. To the east gable, there is a former stable wing that is single-storey with an attic. Access to this area is through a segmental-headed pend arch. The windows throughout the building are timber sash and case with multi-pane glazing. The roof is slate and features a single ridge stack. Additionally, there is a rubble garden wall surrounding the property.
