2 Low Street, Banff

2 Low Street in Banff is a mid-18th century, 2-storey house with an attic and raised basement, featuring a 2-bay design. The front is made of cherry-pointed squared granite with tooled sandstone details, while the south gable and east front are finished in harled pointed rubble.

The entrance on the left consists of a double-leafed raised and fielded panelled door with a pend. The ground floor has one window with 12-pane glazing, and there are two first-floor windows with plate glass glazing, all of which are timber sash and case.

On the east front, there are two later wallhead dormers. The house has a single end stack with a moulded cornice, a flat skew with a run-off stop on the west front, and crowsteps on the east. The roof is covered with local slate and has a sandstone ridge. Additionally, there is a rubble garden wall surrounding the property.
