Description

Don Bridge in Kintore was designed by James Abernethy and Co, engineers from Aberdeen, and completed in 1882. The bridge features a single bowed truss span with curved link girders at the center, topped with cast-iron representations of the coat-of-arms of Kintore. The approach spans consist of cast-iron parallel girders, complemented by ornate cast-iron railings.
