Description

Early 20th century. Single storey and attic, 3-bay, rectangular-plan villa. Tooled, coursed grey granite finely finished to margins. Overhanging eaves.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: asymmetrical; shallow bowed bay advanced to centre, with 3 symmetrically placed windows, tripartite rectangular-plan dormer to attic floor above; tripartite window to flanking bay to right; convex-shouldered tripartite window to left.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical; doorway to centre bay, bowed canopy of open porch supported on rustic timber columns, windows to flanking bays to left and right; modern skylight to centre of attic floor.

S ELEVATION: not seen 2000.

E ELEVATION: asymmetrical; small canted windows to bays to centre and left, bipartite window to right. Glazed wing adjoining to outer left.

Timber sash and case and PVCu windows. Piended grey slate roof with lead ridges. Coped stacks breaking pitch with square-plan cans. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 2000.

BOUNDARY WALLS: Aberdeen bond granite boundary walls with granite coping.
