26 Rubislaw Den North, Aberdeen

26 Rubislaw Den North in Aberdeen is a two-storey, three-bay villa designed by George Sutherland and Clement George in 1927. The exterior features tooled coursed grey granite ashlar, accented with finely finished contrasting pink granite long and short dressings at the margins. Notable architectural elements include moulded projecting cills on the first floor, an eaves course, and overhanging eaves.

The south elevation is symmetrical, showcasing a round-arched deeply chamfered doorway at the center of the ground floor, which has tiled round steps. This doorway is flanked by a panelled timber door and glazed panels. Above, there is a bipartite window on the first floor. The ground floor features a five-light canted window with stylised crenellated parapets in the bays to the left and right, while the first floor has tripartite windows above these bays.

The east elevation is predominantly blank, while the north elevation was not visible in 2000. The west elevation includes a window on the right side of the first floor. The villa primarily has two-pane timber sash and case windows, and it is topped with a piended green-grey slate roof that has lead ridges. Coped wallhead stacks with circular cans and cast-iron rainwater goods are also present.

The interior was not seen in 2000. The property includes square-plan gatepiers with shallow pyramidal caps on the south side, with low rough-faced coped granite walls in between, and rubble walls for the remainder of the boundary.
