14-25 North Deeside Road, Cults, Aberdeen

This building, located at 14-25 North Deeside Road in Cults, Aberdeen, was constructed around 1896 as a school. It features a rectangular plan and is a single storey over a basement, built into the slope of the hill. The structure is made of Rubislaw granite, with a hammer dressed base course and snecked and squared stone above, complemented by ashlar dressings.

The school consists of three parallel east-west ranges, with entrances located in the central range on both the east and west elevations. These entrances are accessed by flights of steps and are topped with panelled parapets. The eaves are segmentally capped, and there are two flanking windows on either side of the entrances.

On the north range, there are wide end bays featuring a Venetian window set under a relieving arch on both the front and return elevations. The gables are stepped and finialled, with a central arched window that has a shaped gable above it, flanked by two additional windows.

The south elevation displays six basket arched openings at the ground floor, with a central first-floor window that is gabletted. The roofs are slate and piended to the central range, and there are cast-iron railings along the north side.
