Description

Turner's Bridge, built in 1900 by engineer John Eaglesham, is a steel and iron footbridge that crosses the River Ayr. The bridge features a cast-iron parapet and red sandstone rusticated piers. It has five segmental arches and latticed parapets, along with five ornamental ogee-arched cast-iron open gateways that include lighting.
