Description

The Station Footbridge at Riding Mill Station is a passenger footbridge built in the late 19th century for the North-Eastern Railway. It is constructed from cast iron and features a wide elliptical arch with angled flights of steps on either side leading to square landings on open arches. The bridge has riveted corner piers and a raised pattern in the spandrels, with open spandrels at the landings. The parapet includes riveted posts, rails, and diagonal struts.
