Description

A terrace of five two-storey houses was constructed between 1800 and 1819, originally serving as part of a Water Guard Station, later operated by the Coastguard Service. The property is located adjacent to 151 Kilkeel Road, Annalong, County Down. Shown on an Ordnance Survey 6-inch map from 1834 (sheet 56), the buildings have undergone significant later alterations that have resulted in a loss of original character. The terrace now has a gabled roof, pebble-dashed walls, and modern top-hung timber windows. The site holds industrial archaeological interest.
