Riverside House, 18 Glen Road, Newry, Co. Down, BT34 1SP

Riverside House is a two-storey, L-plan farmhouse. The building was surveyed during initial historical surveys but has not been formally listed, and only a partial record was taken during a subsequent survey due to its limited significance. It features red brick chimneys on the gables. The front facade is arranged with three bays, and includes a central projecting entrance bay, with windows and the entrance door all featuring segmental-arched heads. Original sash windows are present, along with a timber barge to the gable; however, other windows are square-headed uPVC casements. The entrance door is a six-panel design, with a segmental arched fanlight and original glazing. The exterior has a generally smooth cement render finish, with quoins, and chamfered edges to the window openings. The roof is covered in natural slate, and the building includes cast iron rainwater goods. Ancillary outbuildings and hooped metal entrance gates are also present.
