Description

Two storey building, set between two similar properties (HB16/28/053 and HB16/28/052B) on west side of Abbey Way. Pitched artificial slate roof with painted metal rainwater goods. Single chimney to left of roof is cement rendered with concrete copping and shared with no.5 Margaret Street. Wall to facade is lined cement render. At ground floor are three semi elliptical arches supported by shared, band-rusticated, V-jointed piers. Each has a raised keyblock to head and a raised moulded impost. The central arch is narrower than the others and contains a pair of modern panelled timber doors, with boxed roller shutter over. The openings to left and right of door both contain a modern window with top hung transoms, boxed roller shutter with raised cill and rendered stall risers. There are two windows to each upper floor. Those to first floor are 1/1 modern top-hung casement windows. Those to second floor are similar but diminished in height; all have painted granite cills No access could be gained to the rear elevation, as there is no rear yard.
