Description

Single storey / three bay vernacular house aligned perpendicular to W side of Greenhill Road, with left gable to road.. Pitched natural slate roof with concrete skews and three line-rendered and coped chimney stacks - one to each gable and the third between middle and right bays. Advanced eaves course supports half round metal rainwater goods. Walls are lined rendered and painted. Principal elevation faces N. Central bay has an advanced porch and a single window to its right. Porch has a pitched natural slate roof with plain bargeboards. Both cheeks of porch are blank. Entrance door on its front gable has four raised and fielded panels, all bolection moulded with painted cast iron door furniture. Left bay has a single window and right bay has two windows. All windows are 2/2 (vertically divided) sliding sashes with horns and painted concrete cills. Gables of house are blank. The right one is abutted by a lower outbuilding with corrugated metal roof, now derelict and of no interest. Rear elevation is abutted to centre and left bays by a lean-to extension (containing bathroom and scullery). Right bay has a single three paned steel casement window. The extension is of rendered concrete blockwork and has a corrugated metal roof. To front is small garden enclosed by a rendered and coped wall with pair of wrought iron gates (20thC).
