Millbrook Primary School, 106 Drumahoe Road, Millbrook, Larne, Co Antrim, BT40 2SN

Millbrook Primary School is an early 20th-century building of modest architectural design, built in 1913 as Millbrook National School. The red brick school is single-storied with a shallow pitched slate roof. A projecting porch is centrally placed on the entrance gable, topped with red terracotta finials. A brick chimney is located on the rear gable. A red sandstone oval plaque above the porch reads "Millbrook National School 1913." Buttresses run along the side elevations, featuring red sandstone weatherings. The side windows are timber-framed, with a central mullion and transom dividing them into fixed upper lights and bottom-hung lower sashes, painted white. The entrance front features semi-circular windows and a doorway, with red brick drip mouldings ending in floriated label stops. A modern flush door serves as the entrance. The boundary walling is of red brick, partly original and partly renewed, with original wrought iron railings featuring ornamental details and flower head crestings. The school stands facing the main road, set within a small tarmac playground bordered by houses.
