This is a modern movement house built between 1960 and 1979, originally designed in 1972 by McAllister Armstrong & Partners, the same firm responsible for the design of Aldergrove Airport. The building is L-shaped, single-storey, and constructed of red brick, though it was initially timber-clad. It features an entrance within a sunken courtyard, enclosed by a double garage. The window openings have been revised during the recent brick re-cladding, with the installation of stained glass, PVC frames, arches of varying shapes, and applied G.R.P. columns as part of the 1980s-era decoration. Original entrance piers remain. The current occupants, who have lived in the house since 1992, have been responsible for the unsympathetic renovations.
