Description

Brookfield is a long, single-storey house dating from the early nineteenth century, situated on Carrowreagh Road. The building's original appearance has been significantly altered by the enlargement of window openings. However, it retains its original elliptical entrance with a fanlight and sidelights, which provides a sense of the building's former character. The property was surveyed during initial surveys but was not considered worthy of full listing and retains only a partial record. It currently operates as a house, having previously been used as such.
