Description

A closed head lever type pump with a plain column and a fluted cap. The column is inscribed with a flag logo (denoting manufacture by Lee Howl & Co, Tipton, England) and 3". It is probably a 'Paragon strong yard pump' or deep well pump'. It is located in a field off an unsurfaced lane with a galvanised drinking trough nearby. Absence of houses implies agricultural use.
