Description

This is a lever-action pump, likely dating from between the 1920s and 1939. It has a plain, undecorated column and a fluted cap. The pump displays a flag logo indicating manufacture by Lee, Howl ans Co, Tipton, alongside the words "All British made" and "3 1/2". The pump has been repositioned and its original historic interest has been diminished as a result. According to a local informant, it was initially installed in the 1930s and subsequently moved following the installation of a replacement electric pump.
