Description
The gazebo, dating from the early 19th century, is located to the west of No. 23 on High Street in Chard. It features incised render on brick and has a hipped slate roof with rolled lead hips. The structure has a rectangular plan with canted bays at the front and is a single storey with a one-window range. The front and left sides have 6/6-pane sash windows, while the sides of the bay have 2/2-pane windows. There is an altered entrance at the rear. Attached to the left of the gazebo is a brick wall built in Flemish bond, which displays a burnt header diaper pattern on a rubblestone plinth, topped with Ham Hill stone coping.
