Description
The Old School is a building that was originally a school and is now a house. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is possibly designed by Richard Carver. The structure is made of ashlar stone and features a slate roof with coped verges and polygonal ashlar stacks. It is designed in the Tudor style and is a single storey with three bays. The windows are two-light stone-mullioned with four-centred heads to the lights. There is a door opening located between the first and second bays, which is framed by a gabled porch. The outer door opening has a four-centred arch, leading to an inner glazed door.
