Description

The balustrading bounding the parterre of Southill House dates from the late 18th century and is likely the work of John Wood the Younger, known for his designs in Bath. It is made of dressed stone and features three panels, each containing 23 balusters. The structure includes coping and pillars positioned between the panels and at each end, as well as end stone urns. Additionally, there are later added intermediate terracotta urns.
