Description
Batch Cottage is an 18th-century house located in Cranmore. The house is constructed of colourwashed coursed and squared rubble with coped verges, rendered stacks, and a thatched roof. It is two storeys in height and has two bays. The first floor features a two-light stone-mullioned window with avolo moulding. Below it is a two-light stone-mullioned window with edge moulding. The ground floor has two-light casement windows, one of which is metal. A central door opening now has a 20th-century door and porch. Two circular tie plates are visible. A single-bay outshut of lower height is set to the left side, containing an edge-moulded stone-mullioned window.
