Description

The churchyard cross, located in the churchyard south of the Church of St Bartholomew, dates from the 14th century and is made of dressed stone. It features three square steps leading up to a square socket that supports an octagonal upper bed. The shaft has been restored and is topped with a later cruciform head. This information is referenced in Pooley M.'s "Old Crosses of Somerset," published in 1877.
