Description
Sandy Hill House is a house built in the 18th century, with a refronting from the mid-19th century. The building is rendered and features end pilasters and a hipped stone slate roof, along with two partially rendered brick stacks. It has a symmetrical facade with three storeys and three bays. The tripartite sash windows are set in plain stone surrounds, with a broad central opening of four lights and narrower flanking windows separated by plain mullions. The central bay has openings that are highlighted with keystones. The central doorway is framed in stone and features a six-panelled and glazed door. To the left side, there is a two-storey pent roofed outshut with a single casement window on each floor, and a former door opening in a moulded four-centred stone surround, which now contains another casement window. The house is primarily included for its group value.
