Description
Bearley Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse that dates from the 17th century and later. It features Ham stone ashlar at the base and red brick in Flemish bond above, with Ham stone dressings. The roof is covered with plain clay tiles and has stepped coped gables, along with stone slab chimney stacks. The building has two storeys with an attic and consists of seven bays.
The windows are hollow-chamfered mullioned windows with three lights, and all lower windows have labels. There are no windows in upper bays 3, 5, and 7. The lower bay 3 has a boarded door set in a cambered archway, while bay 7 features a part-glazed door in a similar opening. To the east gable, there is a single-storey, single-bay extension with a hipped roof.
Between bays 1 and 2 at the upper level, there is a stone plaque that reads: "S.E Burnt down and rebuilt 1818". The interior has not been seen.
