Description
Ameslane Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with coped verges and a slate roof, featuring end ashlar ridge stacks. The building has a symmetrical front with a basement and two storeys, comprising five bays. Each bay contains 2-light stone-mullioned windows, with each light fitted with a casement and stopped labels. The central door opening features a 6-panelled door, with the top two panels glazed, and is topped by a stone slab hood supported on brackets.
