Description
Stonebrook House is a detached house, likely dating from the 18th century or possibly earlier. It is constructed of roughly squared local lias stone with Ham stone dressings, featuring clay pantiled roofs with coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The house has an L-shape, with the westernmost section having a double roof plan. The west elevation has two storeys and three bays. The upper floor features small-paned casement windows with painted stone hood moulds, while the ground floor has matching French doors. A 19th-century gabled porch with a cambered arched doorway was added to the north side. The south elevation of the eastern range has random window placement with some 16-pane sash windows. The interior was not inspected.
