Description
The Longman Chest Tomb, located in the churchyard 9 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew, dates from the 18th century and is made of Ham stone. It features a moulded plinth, although the bottom half of the tomb is buried. Each side has one fielded panel, and there are panelled pilasters on the flanks. The tomb is topped with a moulded hipped top and commemorates Joseph Longman, who died in 1759.
