Description
Brooks House and Maricourt is a house that has been divided into two homes. It has origins in the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The exterior is rendered with a pantile roof and features a 20th-century box dormer and a brick ridge stack. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. The windows are 3-light casements, with the two on the right side of the first floor being ovolo-moulded and transomed, fitted with leaded lights. There is a similarly moulded 4-light casement to the right on the ground floor, also with leaded lights. To the left, there are two door openings, one of which has a 19th-century six-panelled door. The third door opening from the left has a plank door with a central glazed panel. All ground floor openings are topped with moulded lintels.
