Description

The Cottage is a house from the early 19th century. It has a rendered surface that is scribed to resemble ashlar stone, with a pilaster at the left end, wide eaves, and a pantile roof featuring a brick ridge stack. The building is two storeys high and has a single bay. It features 16-pane sash windows set within decorative architraves that have prominent keystones. To the right of the window on the ground floor, there is a late 19th-century glazed and panelled door. This door is topped by a flat wooden hood that is supported by fluted pilasters and two brackets. The Cottage is included in the listing mainly for its group value with other nearby structures.
