Description
This is a barn located about 30 meters north-north-east of Stapleton Farmhouse, likely built in the 18th century. It has a timber frame and is clad with weatherboarding, topped with a double Roman clay tile roof featuring plain gables. The barn is single-storey and consists of six bays, with the fifth bay serving as an open throughway. There are early pattern boarded doors in the second bay, and a stone lean-to with a Welsh slate roof in the sixth bay. The throughway has timber side walls with stare end piers and features three-centre arched doors in the center. A later block attached to the south side is not of special interest. The interior has not been seen.
