3/292 Barn about 30 metres north-north-east of Stapleton Farmhouse -

GV II

Barn. Probably C18. Timber-framed and clad with weatherboarding; double Roman clay tile roof with plain gables. Single-storey, 6 bays, of which bay 5 is an open throughway. Early pattern boarded doors to bay 2; lean-to in bay 6 in stone, with Welsh slate roof. The throughway: has timber side walls with stare end piers, with 3-centre arched doors in centre. The later block attached to south side not of special interest. Interior not seen.
