Description

West gate and railings, located about 20 metres north-west of the Church of St Michael, are likely from the late 18th century. The railings are made of wrought iron and feature a stone base. There is a low stone wall with rounded coping, and the wrought iron square rails have collared taper spikes. The matching gate has a scrolled top and middle rail, plain bars, and a later hooped base panel. The railings stand approximately 1.6 metres high and have a total length of about 4 metres. These structures contribute to the setting of both the Church of St Michael and The Vicarage.
