Description

This early 19th-century house is located on Frome Road in Beckington. It is a symmetrical classical design, with rendered exterior walls and a slate roof with coped verges. The house features brick stacks. It has two storeys and three bays, with sash windows with glazing bars set in bead-moulded stone surrounds. A central door opening is framed by a similar surround, topped with a triangular pediment supported by moulded stone brackets. The door itself is six-panelled, with the top two panels glazed as one. A small, segmental-headed niche is situated to the left of the door opening, and a cast iron boot-scraper is also present.
