Description

Ivy House Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was restored in the mid-19th century. It is built of random rubble with a slate roof, featuring coped verges and brick and rubble stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and an irregular facade, consisting of two storeys and attics with three bays. The windows are 2 and 3-light stone-mullioned with chamfered edges, and those on the ground floor have stopped labels. There is a 19th-century casement window to the right of the ground floor. The central door opening has a plain stone surround and features a half-glazed door from the 19th century, topped by a distressed gabled hood supported by wooden brackets. The left side of the building has a single attic light in a chamfered stone surround.
