Description
Spring Grove House is a house built around 1780 and enlarged around 1900. It has a rendered exterior over brick and features a hipped roof covered with bitumen and slate, along with brick chimneys. The house is two storeys high with five bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars and a central entrance with partially glazed double doors. There is a single-storey verandah with paired wooden pilasters that slightly projects in the central bay, accessible by a flight of three steps. The south front has a three-bay return, which is interrupted by a late 19th-century bay window. On the first floor of the southeast corner, there is a canted bay window supported by Ionic columns, dating from around 1900. Additionally, there is an Ionic porch on the rear elevation, which may have been reset.
