Description

This is a gazebo dating from about 1800, situated approximately 30 metres west of Southfields. Constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, it features a pyramidal roof covered with Welsh slate and topped with a finial. The gazebo is two storeys high and has a single bay on each face. East and west elevations incorporate oriel windows reminiscent of Venetian designs, with angled bays and patterned cast iron lights. On the west side is a circular window, while the east side has a false three-centred arched opening with 20th-century glazed doors. A small lean-to extension is present on the north side.
